This is not intended to be a history of Newport, capital of the Isle of Wight but rather a display of the cards I have. There are numerous books available about the town.

Cricket ground, Victoria Road. This is just to the west of the town centre.

A view over Newport from Mountjoy. This is looking north and the river Medina may be seen at the top of the picture. Card is dated 1915

Described as 'I.W. Technical Institute and Seely Library' this 

building has subsequently become a school, currently 

called Nodehill School. Probably from around 1903.
