Whispers from the Cosmos

Caltech Computational Astronomy
EME (Moonbounce) on VHF and UHF - transmitting radio waves on amateur radio bands to the moon and detecting the reflections using high quality antennas and receivers.
Naval Research Laboratory - Supernovae/Supernova Remnants/Low Frequency Radio Astronomy - study of the properties of supernovae (SNe), particularly at radio wavelengths, and supernova remnants (RSNs), particularly at long radio wavelengths.
Radio Astronomy Group - University of Tasmania - involved in a wide range of research activities and operates radio observatories near Hobart, Tasmania and Ceduna, South Australia.
Radio Astronomy Imaging Group (RAI) - part of the NCSA team which focuses on problems of remote scientific instrumentation and imaging within a distributed metacomputing environment.
Society of Amateur Radio Astronomers
Solar Flare detection Utilizing Shortwave Fadeout - a 4-year study observing solar flares with a communications receiver and computer. General radio propagation effects are also described.
University of Calgary (Canada) - Radio Astronomy Laboratory
VLA FIRST Survey - images and catalogs from sensitive, high-resolution radio observations of the northern sky are available online.
Brandeis Radio Astronomy Group - conducts research in extragalactic astrophysics and cosmology at wavelengths covering the entire electromagnetic spectrum, but especially at radio wavelengths.
